2024 Community Arts, Teaching Artist, & Individual Artist Grants

These semiannual funds that come out twice a year. $2500 (for individual artists) - $5000 (for organizations). Each application must benefit the community in some way.

Apply Now: The JGS Fellowship for Photography
Due: May 21, 2024 @ 5:00 pm
The JGS Fellowship for Photography is a $8,000 cash grant open to New York State photography artists living and working outside of New York City anywhere in the following New York State regions: Western New York, Finger Lakes, Southern Tier, Central New York, North Country, Mohawk Valley, Capital District, Hudson Valley and Long Island.

Anonymous Was A Woman Environmental Art Grants
Applications Close: Tuesday, April 16 at 5:00 PM ET* Applicants Notified: August 2024
This is a national competition maximum $20,000. Artists must engage in a program that is already in process. The work must benefit the public in some way and talk about the environment. It is being managed by New York Foundation for the Arts, but you don't have to live in NYS. You do have to live in the USA, but you can work with international partners anywhere in the world!

The NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship
$8,000 unrestricted cash grant available to artists living in New York State and/or one of the Tribal Nations located therein.
This grant is awarded in fifteen different disciplines over a three-year period (five categories a year) and the application is free to complete.
The NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship is not a project grant, but is intended to fund an artist’s vision or voice, at all levels of their artistic development. This is program that provides artists with $8000 just for being an artists! No project deadlines. Applications open in the fall, close in the winter, and are announced in the summer of the following year.
