In honor of the supposed old days of the New Year which fell on April 1, I finally decided to begin content. No April fools, I am being real here. Just so we are all on the same page about this date and the possible origins of April Fools day...
I have heard the reason being is there was a switch in the calendar from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian calendar that shifted the start of the New Year from the spring equinox (which usually falls around April 1 in the old calendar) to January 1 in the new calendar.
Afterward, people who wrongly celebrated the new year in late March and early April were called "April fools."
According to the History Channel in 1582 year the change was initiated and implemented by France. Merci Buckets!
There are so many things to go into, but let's set this space up for what I aim it to be, a space for documenting artistic projects and culminating resources.
Goals - there is a saying that if you fail to plan, plan to fail. So this will in part be a space for me to share some of my plans.
New work
Experiments - both successes and failures
